The Evolution of the Traffic Exchange Continues...
In recent times we have seen a change in how the traffic exchange industry is seeing itslef. ProfitClicking has introduced a model that has ignited a kind of transformation across the field, and many exchanges are becoming more profit-sharing and making daily payments.
In the past, the Traffic Exchange had been more of a Membership Site, with free and paid memberships. Paid memberships gave extra benefits like lowered surf ratios and bonus credits. Today many exchanges are evolving to the profit sharing model put forth originally by JBP and continued in the new ProfitClicking Traffic Exchange.
This model still offers free and paid membership, but also offers a way to build an income from the purchase of surfing credits. ProfitClicking calls them Ad Packs. A purchase grants you 1000 advertising credits and allows you to place up to 3 advertisements into their system, for their large membership to view (and potentially buy). ProfitClicking offers the first Ad Pack for free (Free $10 to spend into the system), so even the Free members can place ads and experience the system. To go further, free members must pay in or build their business by referral income. This is very doable in PC and I know IBOs in PC that have built their business that way, never having put money into the system themselves.
More and more I am seeing this same structure being imitated by other TEs. Where payment for traffic (always just a fee before) now creates a profit sharing payment flow. This is an attempt to jump on the PC bandwagon and be able to say "me too!"In the long run, this may transform the entire industry into a profit sharing model.
Traffic exchanges always offered the ability to build a residual income through downlines. The sole enticement they really had was the ability to offer you better advertising options if you paid into the system, and many did. The majority, though try to do their advertising on a shoestring budget, and paying is undesireable to this group. With the addition of a cash flow payment, many will see a traffic exchange as a direct opportunity, with the additional downline referral business as a bonus, and likely as an option, since many people find referring and selling distasteful. With a possible income to be made without referring, many of those free members may start paying, which opens the cash flow stream for them.
For the forseeable future, ProfitClicking will be the premier program of this type. With a huge membership, they lead the field. No TE that I am aware of even comes close the the ProfitClicking membership size. You are sure to do best by being involved in PC for the best exposure of your advertising to a membership of millions.

The Work at Home Paradigm
Part II - No Work / No Pay
In all the examples given in part I, one thing is clear... all businesses need to Advertise. Physical businesses need phone book and newspaper ads, as their clientelle is local. You might do the same for MLM advertising, allowing locals interested in your MLM products to find a local distributor. Self-Employment would also use those methods for advertising. MLM, ECommerce, and Affiliate Marketing also depend on email and website advertising and would tend not to use traditional advertising methods, though they could do so. In the end though all business need advertising and traffic to their websites.
So the last niche I want to discuss is the online-Advertising business model. There are thousands of online Advertising businesses out there. Most all of them offer an Afilliate program model to grow their business. You find and bring in new business and you are rewarded (work first, pay later). Few Afilliate programs have a compensation plan, instead they often have a simple commission schedule based on free or paid membership. Examples of online advertising business types include ezine ads, Free For All (FFA) advertising, traffic exchange advertising, safelist advertising and online classified advertising. Many of these advertising platforms have FREE participation models, but your mileage will vary.
I have never met anyone that told me they have made alot of money using FFA or Safelist advertising. The response rates on these forms of advertising are atrociously low. EZine advertising is Niche driven and can be successful if you have the skillset to crate an Ezine and publish on time and grow your audience well through Email Marketing. The curious thing about all these platforms is that even though they are advertising platforms in themselves, you need to advertise them and build downlines in them to be profitable. Again, no work, no pay.
Traffic Exchanges are a voluntary advertising format, which has a bit more enguagement. A traffic exchange shows advertisements one after the other and members view them in EXCHANGE for the opportunity to advertise their own programs to the membership. The advertising format is webpages, which can be much more interesting to watch and read than classifieds and many email advertising venues. Typically a member views 1 to 3 sites and is given credit to have their own site visited once. Members can decrease their ratio of viewd to earned views by purchasing a Traffic Exchange Subscription. Programs like this are abundant, and the compensation plan pay membership when referrals make purchases. Upgraded members earn higher commissions as well. Almost all programs have free memberships, however, and few opt to pay for what they can do for free already, so a steady income is difficult to achieve as an afilliate in traffic exchanges.
But I have found an advertising business that can be grown without further advertising the program itself. It can be run as a completely independent business that requires no "downline", though the option to build your business through personal and internet marketing is available. This business is FREE TO JOIN and test out. In fact, the company will even spot you $10 to let you see how it works. At this time there are over 2 Million members and the growth phase is still happening. The company is 8 years old and has been online serving its membes since 2004. In 2010 they came upon their current business model, and it has been an growing success for the company and afilliates ever since. I am speaking, of course, of ProfitClicking. Joining ProfitClicking is free, but participation in the compensation plan requires purchases, participation and work.
Profit Clicking is not a set it and forget it business. The genius of ProfitClicking is in its design to use the membership as an advertising platform. Members purchase advertising, and are paid for viewing the advertisements. The business model is somewhat like a Pay-Per-Click website: Advertisers pay and membership gets paid to view the ads. So personal participation will help you build your business. Daily participation yeilds Daily payments to you. No play, no pay! If you want to benefit from more than your own efforts, you can promote, present, acquire and train downline members. For these efforts your are rewarded with commissions on purchases made by your referrals, and any referrals they acquire.
Advertisers benefit by getting access to over 2 Million daily viewers. Members benefit by being paid to view advertising. It is a win-win-win moded that puts the membership to work. Members build their business. ProfitClicking grows in stature as an advertising force on the internet (Already ranked in the top 200 sites in the world). Advertisers gain access to and advertising pool of millions.
Members have to take daily action to keep their business active and growing, so their compensatin is based on their work!

The Working From Home Paradigm
PART I No Work - No Pay
There are lots of different business models out there for people that want to work from home. You can develop a skill or ability and just declare a business and be self-employed. You get all the benefits of a business including business use of the home, auto deductions, etc. You also have to find your own clients, make your own appointments, do your own presentations and make your own contracts. Keeping all these plates spinning properly is what makes many people resist going the self-employment route.
Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) has long been touted for those that want to work from home. MLM casts you into the role of an Independent Business Operator (IBO), or Distributor, but your business is tied to the parent company/corporation. You enjoy a line of ready made products and you become the Representative and build your sales force, while simultaneously building the sales force for the company. In return, there is a compensation plan and benefits provided, contests for performance, and there is upline leadership support (if you are lucky). You still have to make the appointments, show / present the products and compensation plan. However, products provided are backed by your parent company, and much of the paperwork, inventory and shipping/handling is simplified via the internet.
And then there is Internet Marketing which has evolved over the last 15 years. There have certainly been a lot of programs presented online with the intent to earn you an income. Many are legitimate, many are questionable, some are just outright snake oil. This article is not here to call out programs that are legit or shady, but to discuss the qualities that make up a legitimate business, as I understand it. Of course I am writing this article in a day and age when 12 year olds with Lemonade stands are being busted for operating without a license, so the understanding of what is legitimate and what is not is in constant flux in the political wind.
In the end, if an internet program offers you a great return on "autopilot" with little or no effort on your part, you may do yourself a favor and just stay away. Making money from a program should require some effort, and there should be some compensation plan laid out for your efforts. In self-employment and the MLM world, reward follows effort. This holds true in the corporate world too: no play, no pay. When seeking an income online, you have a few methods to follow.
Opening an ECommerce site follows the traditional business model the closest. Build your store (Niche, Domain, Site, Advertise, Sell, ship/deliver). This is not always easy, and usually requires some considerable technical skill to handle all the internet technologies needed to make a successful run at an internet store. Even so, much of that skill is outsourced online and the overall costs of an online business are small compared to a physical store. It can be done for minimal cost, but building brand and getting valuable advertising cheap can be problematic. Millions of business are already online and competing for the advertising gets costly against deeper pockets than your own. Ecommerce is another do something now, get paid later kind of work.
Some persue affiliate marketing, which eliminates the costs of the ECommerce site, but still requires the needed advertising and competition in acquiring traffic through search engine keywords. Quite frequently these businesses are built up successfully from what is known as Email Marketing, and once you have built up a considerable e-mail list, you can expect to be able to promote to that list many times a year and generate income from affiliate sales. You still have to find a Niche to operate in and create daily or regular content that keeps the interest of your audience, or they will leave your list. You have to service your list, follow the rules of list ownership and be careful to provide content as well as promotions to your readership.
In all the examples above, one thing is clear... all businesses need to Advertise. Physical businesses need phone book and newspaper ads, as their clientelle is local. In Part II of this discussion, we will discuss additional business models that makes work from home a reality for Millions today.

A Necessary Evil
In any business venture, the desire to do business and handle monies conveniently for your customers, and yourself, inevitably leads you to online payment processor world. I am perhaps being a bit harsh on the payment processors, but as an "internet marketer" you fight a lot of prejudice in setting up a business online.
Payment processors are big and small. Some are more full featured, and include the ability to fund and withdraw via credit card or bank account. Some allow you to transfer in / out to other processors to do some of the fancy stuff. All have varying fees for incoming and outgoing transactions. Just like banks, payment processors rely on fees as their lifeblood. Only banks are more highly regulated and it would be unheard of to charge a fee to deposit funds... but that is a regular feature of payment processors.
With all that said, there would be very little business processed on the internet without payment processors. Also, there is a fair share of scammers out there that look at payment systems as a target for fraud. It may be that the fees are justified in the face of the risk of offering money services online.
To participate in a program like ProfitClicking you are going to need a way to make your advertising purchases and withdraw your daily earnings. As an internet based business, PC does not associate itself with a banking system and cannot accept or initiate credit card payments. Instead they use payment processors to collect and disburse funds.
Most readers would be familiar with PayPal as a payment processor, and feel inconvenienced because ProfitClicking does not have a PayPal option. It seems that PC and PayPal have incompatible business models, and for now, PC and PayPal will not do business with one another. Fortunately there are many pay processors to choose from.
PC currently works with four different payment processors to give it's members a broad choice of options to get their fundings and withdrawals processed. Though there is no limit on deposits daily, it seems that payment processors do put limits on payments to others. For the individual this leads to few problems, but for a company like PC, whith more than a million members, payments to members can be a challenge. Just like individual accounts have limits, so does PC,although their limits are quite a bit larger. Recent news has ProfitClicking preparing to add 3 more pay processors just to ensure they can meet the withdrawal needs of it's members!
In subsequent articles, I will take on each payment processor and discuss their pros and cons. In the meantime, as you are starting in ProfitClicking, you will need to be set up in any one of them to get funds into PC. I have placed banners for the four pay processors below for your convenience in getting started.

Cash Flow is King!
About 10 years ago, I read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. That book opened my eyes to the concept of Cash Flow in personal business. Robert said "Cash Flow is King!" and once I understood the concept, I have to say I agree.
Over the years, whenever looking at personal and business purchased intended to make money, I ask myself: "Will this purchase result in a Cash Flow for me?" In its simplest form, the issue of Cash Flow refers to profitability. If a business has a positive cash flow, then the business is outperforming its expenses.
As an example, if you were in the rental real estate business, and you had a home whose mortgage, taxes, and insurance were around $850/month and you could rent that home for $1100 (depending on the going rates in the neighborhood) then the home MAY generate cash flow. Once the home is occupied, you can expect it to produce cash flow (profitability) for you.
So when I came to the online world, I started looking for a business that produced a positive cash flow. There were lots of interesting concepts, and I joined several online programs over the past 4 years... but all produced NEGATIVE cash flow: I was spending more than any income they generated. Still, I figured there were those that were successful out there, and all I had to do was hit on the right formula or program. Recently I found what I was looking for: An online business that produces cash flow within 24 hours of signing up: ProfitClicking and PC Ad Packs ProfitClicking Add Packs are a great cash flow business that you should join, regardless of any other program(s) you may already be in.
ProfitClicking is an Advertising company
Purchasing an Ad Pack gets you advertising credit with the ProfitClicking Traffic Exchange, which is viewed by over 1 million members! In addition to the advertising credits you receive from a purchase, you also start a profit sharing paymeent flowing to your account. Each Ad Pack perchased generates $0.15 - $0.20 per day in profit share payments... directly into YOUR account. Thee payments continue until the payments total 150% of the purchase price, usually 81 days.
So a purchase accomplishes two things an online business person needs:
1) Gets you needed online advertising
2) Starts a cash flow to your account
This cash is in your account, but can be withdrawn to a payment processor when needed. PC has several payment processors available funding or withdrawing from your account.
