Cash Flow is King!

About 10 years ago, I read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. That book opened my eyes to the concept of Cash Flow in personal business. Robert said "Cash Flow is King!" and once I understood the concept, I have to say I agree.

Over the years, whenever looking at personal and business purchased intended to make money, I ask myself: "Will this purchase result in a Cash Flow for me?" In its simplest form, the issue of Cash Flow refers to profitability. If a business has a positive cash flow, then the business is outperforming its expenses.

As an example, if you were in the rental real estate business, and you had a home whose mortgage, taxes, and insurance were around $850/month and you could rent that home for $1100 (depending on the going rates in the neighborhood) then the home MAY generate cash flow. Once the home is occupied, you can expect it to produce cash flow (profitability) for you.

So when I came to the online world, I started looking for a business that produced a positive cash flow. There were lots of interesting concepts, and I joined several online programs over the past 4 years... but all produced NEGATIVE cash flow: I was spending more than any income they generated. Still, I figured there were those that were successful out there, and all I had to do was hit on the right formula or program.
